~from a canyon bear to an aloha bear . . .
another wonderful post. i always look forward to hearing your revelations and seeing your continued growth in arts and humanity. your entreaty to follow one's passion & excitement falls on particularly hopeful ears in these troubled times. reminds me of something i just read by the great ed abbey: "a writer without passion is like a body without a soul."

It's good to have you back Bear. Thanks for sharing your vision. It is good to know you are still letting your Muse dance across your thoughts. We are all the wiser and blessed as usual.

I know there are a lot of wonderful and creative thoughts playing around in your head. Can't help it in the paradise that you live in. And not to mentions the creative energy the you possess. We miss your new thoughts on the blog. Please give us some more. Life gets too crazy out here and you have created a wonderful peaceful place to help our thoughts to return to the Hui from time to time.
Miss you Bro.

You've taught me so much about just seeing and waiting for something to happen as opposed to expecting something to happen. I spend my evenings in my backyard watching the birds, the pond, the flowers, and the light. Even in such a small suburban backyard, I never run out of fresh new images. Birds travel new paths, light is always changing, new flowers bloom, old flowers pass on, insects change, birds travel new paths or new birds appear. Something unique is always happening and the images present themselves. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

I am so happy that you started a blog. Now I can feel like I'm staying in touch with a friend.

Your writings and images have been such an inspiration to me since I met you at Hui's workshop several years ago. I'm still trying to set aside some time to return.

Aloha,

I am struck by your writing, smooth, flowing, personal comments. Lots of meaning, no chaff. I think you could do a book like this blog: picture with musings, one after another. In a way, it's an expanded caption and makes for a fine read/look.
Mo' betta' bra.
