Thanks for rekindling your creative juices on the blog Rik. You words and thoughts have been missed from those few blogs that I constantly return to. It is good to hear the heartbeats and snippets of the soul behind the frame. It looks like I am not the only old friend who has missed the "heartbeats of your soul". Sunrise at Mo'omomi is almost a spiritual experience. And one that is never forgotten. I look forward to the many ways that you "see simply" and beautifully. The millions of pixels that we now have in our cameras, hot wired for speed and color, are still nothing without the soul and eye of a photographer turning those cameras in the right direction.

As ever, a lovely shot. Rik, you may have forgotten me, but I lived in the little house in Eugene in 1979 before going to Paris. Aside from the chance to say hello, please pass my regards on to Cynthia. I would love to connect with her if she's OK with that. Otherwise, thanks for the continuing beautiful work. Rob Anderson

Hi, Rikki Love the tatt photo. It would be interesting to know what the colors are. I can see why it took months to do. Stunning picture. I'll be at the Hui next month (March)

Rikki, I stumbled on your site and this photo just blew me away. It is just magnificent. I think your infra red work is beyond explanation. I know this is a very personal photo of your friend Flint. Will you ever have it available for "special" people?
Hope to see you again soon.
